A Special Message at Christmas, as 2011 draws to a close
At this special time of year we celebrate the birth of the highly evolved soul we call Jesus - Yeshua - who came to earth in a human body to manifest the Christ-consciousness and to exemplify Divine Love demonstrated in human life.
In his teaching, the great spiritual teacher White Eagle makes a distinction between Jesus the great Master, and the Christ, that greater Light which is not limited to one human being, but for which Jesus above all was a channel. Although other teachers in their own way have reflected this Christ Light, White Eagle has often spoken of the supreme mission that Jesus had, and of the baptism by the Christ Light that he brought to the earth and all mankind. The full power and implication of the great mission of Jesus is yet to be realised by people on earth.
White Eagle: "Two thousand years ago one of the Great White Brotherhood came into incarnation with a mission above all others, as a teacher and revealer of the Love we speak about; the Love upon which man's whole life is to be built. Through Jesus flowed the heavenly Light, the Sun, the Supreme Light of the heavens. In your world you know the Light by the name of Christ; and as this Light came through the prepared channel, Jesus, you know this great one as Jesus Christ.
"Let there be Light" : the Light is the first-born - Christ, the Son of God.
Through Jesus, the Cosmic Christ came to earth and manifested through the flesh. Jesus' mission was to prepare a physical vehicle for the incoming of the glorious Christ Spirit, which came as a shaft of Light from the heavens and manifested through the body of the great initiate Jesus.
We would emphasise the wonder that so great a spiritual glory as this can manifest through God's creation, man; a glory which is not limited to any one channel but can eventually shine through the whole human race when it has prepared itself for such an incoming.
Christ, through Jesus, brought the message to the world that Love is the saviour. It is the Divine Love and Intelligence behind the Christ-consciousness which is the saviour of this world. But also each man has to learn to be his own saviour by developing a consciousness of Christ in his daily life.
One of the purposes of the message of Love which the Master Jesus brought is that Love is necessary for the unfoldment of spiritual gifts. Spirit-consciousness is implanted in every living being. You all have it - even if it be a spark almost smothered by the mind and materialistic thought. Without Love you cannot get perfectly true spiritual contact and spiritual communion.
The symbol of man's heart centre is the astrological symbol of the Sun. The centre of your universe is the heart-beat of all Life, and the Sun represents Love. Christ is the Sun of Life, the glory of human life.
Love is the goal of that new age of blessedness, brotherhood and beauty which surely follows after the days of preparation and struggle. You will get there. Look up and strive, and all the angels in heaven will be with you."
